King Country Energy Tree of Light

Take an evening drive down Rora Street in Te Kuiti from December 2015 onwards and you’ll see a tall Norfolk Pine adorned in colourful twinkling lights.

This is the KCE Tree of Light; established by KCE for the Waitomo community. It's purpose is to ‘shine a light’ on a wide array of special occasions and awareness events throughout the year which are dear to the heart of local people.

You’ll be able to watch the KCE Tree of Light change colour as the months pass by. For example, it might be red for ANZAC Day, yellow for Daffodil Day, green for Conservation Week and so on.

A different occasion or event; a different colour. Proudly brought to you by KCE: the power behind our community.
