Community Services
Council provides recreation and community facilities with the aim of meeting the present and future needs of the community and to ensure that Council meets it statutory obligations e.g. Reserves Act 1977 and Burial and Cremation Act 1964.
This Group provides essential infrastructure and services to the Waitomo District Community, such as Cemeteries, Parks and Reserves and Recreational Facilities. Council also provides community services such as Waitomo District Library, Community Halls, Elderly Person Housing and the provision of public amenities.
