Te Kūiti Holiday Park

The Te Kūiti Holiday Park is located at 47A Te Kumi Road (State Highway 3) Te Kūiti.

Te Kūiti is New Zealand's Shearing Capital of the World and only a short drive to the world famous Waitomo Caves and other adventure tourism activities.

The Te Kūiti Holiday Park is a KIWICAMP facility, and provides parking and facilities for motorhomes and caravans.

Facilities available include cooking and laundry, toilets, showers, recycling and Free Wifi.  The dump station is free to use.

Fees:  $20 per vehicle, per 24 hour period.

Marokopa Holiday Park

The Marokopa Holiday Park is located on Rauparaha Street Marokopa on the west coast of the Waitomo District and is an idyllic seaside location for camping with family and friends.

The Marokopa Holiday Park is operated as a KIWICAMP Facility that allows campers to pay for facilities using the KIWICASH payment service.

Fees: $20 per vehicle, per 24 hour period.

  • Use of shower $2.00 per five minutes. 
  • Use of laundry $4.00 per load (dryer is coin operated - $3.00).

Tui Park

Tui Park is located on Tui Street in Piopio and is an attractive place to stay if you are exploring Waitomo and King Country areas by caravan or campervan. 

Fees: $5 per vehicle, per 24 hour period.

  • Use of shower $2.00 per five minutes. 
  • Use of kitchen 50 cents for two minutes.

Sites are allocated on a first come first serve basis. Number of total sites available is determined by WDC, gate traffic recorded and access limited automatically.

  • WDC Campground do not have powered sites for Campervans/caravans
  • Campervans/caravans must be fully self contained.
  • Stays are for a maximum of 10 days, as per WDC guidelines.
  • No Cabins are permitted at anytime.
