About Legendary Te Kuiti:
The purpose of LTK is to enhance Te Kuiti as a place to live, work and conduct business for the benefit of the whole community. LTK membership comprises local business owners, interested members of the community and Council representatives. Membership is open to people who want to make a difference to Te Kuiti.
LTK's exciting projects:
- In December 2015 a mob of steel sheep sculptures were installed in Rora Street by Waitomo District Council. The sheep were locally designed and made, and sponsored by local families and businesses. Local support for this initiaive has been fantastic.
- The release of a small range of Te Kuiti themed merchandise which is sold through the Te Kuiti i-SITE Visitor Information Centre.
- Livening up the empty shop windows in Rora Street with posters and other props. The first posters are expected to be in by late December 2015.
