Balloons visit Te Kuiti

We are excited to announce that the ‘Balloons over Waikato’ festival will once again make an appearance in Te Kuiti.  Families will enjoy getting up close to some amazing hot-air balloons. So mark the calendar and bring the family out for a very special evening, bought to you by Waitomo District Council in conjunction with Balloons over Waikato. The event will be held on Friday 24th March, 6.00pm - 8.00pm at the Te Kuiti Domain.

Be a responsible dog owner

It is important to register your dog every year as part of being a responsible dog owner. Dog registration provides safety and security for dogs, owners and the community.

Have your ownership details changed? We encourage all dog owners to notify us of any changes in their dog ownership status; change of owner contact or dog details, a change in the number of dogs kept on a premise, or advising a change of dog ownership.

All dogs must be kept under the control of their owner. Adequate fencing, a kennel or running wire are some of the ways you can keep your dog secure on your property.

Don’t make your dogs mess someone else’s problem. The Dog Control Bylaw requires all dog owners to appropriately dispose of any droppings left by the dog in a public place. Bag it and bin it, or risk a $300 fine.
