PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is hereby given that the Waitomo District Council, for the purpose of the Asphalt Resurfacing for Road Maintenance will close the following roads/streets to ordinary vehicular traffic for the periods indicated:

Date: 23 March 2024 – 26 March 2024 (weather dependent)

Period of Closure: 8pm to 7am

Closed Streets/Roads: Rora Street, Te Kūiti

Affected Streets/Roads: 

Te Kūiti Domain Access

King Street East

Alexandra Street

State Highway 3

Ward Street

Hospital Road

Alternative Route/s:  From Rora Street via King Street East and Taupiri Street or Ward Street and Carroll Street (SH3).

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person otherwise than under authority to use the road/street for ordinary vehicular traffic during this period of closure.
